Five Trees launched a new high-performance industrial edge computer E522 series. It has server-level computing capabilities and flexible expansion ports, supporting abundant storage capacity and high-speed network transmission. It is suitable for edge data server, AOI visual inspection and AI visual equipment applications.
The E522 is equipped with Intel Coffee Lake 8th/9th Gen Core CPUs, Intel Kaby Lake 7th Gen CPUs series processors, with a maximum power consumption of 65W, 2x DDR4 SO-DIMM slots, and a maximum support of 32GB.
E522 can connect various devices, it has 6 GbE, 8 USB 3.0/USB2.0 and 4 COM ports, and provides 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 x PCIe 2.0 x2, 2 x PCI expansion slots for connection GPU, motion control card, image acquisition card, data acquisition card, network card, etc.
E522 supports M.2 and x 2.5″ SATA III hard drive bays and provides high data transfer rates through multiple GbE ports. Onboard BMC enables remote management and supports IPMI 2.0 management for real-time remote troubleshooting, reducing Downtime.
Flexible expansion and easy integration, suitable for AI vision applications
E522 provides expansion slots 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 x PCIe 2.0 x2, 2 x PCI. The PCIe x16 slot can support an RTX 3080 Ti GPU. These high-end graphics cards require plenty of power support and can overheat during intensive tasks. E522 series HPC adopts an advanced heat dissipation design to improve heat dissipation, and is also equipped with a special heat dissipation kit for industrial fanless graphics cards. E522 provides high-performance computing and can support motion control cards, capture cards and graphics cards with multiple slots, meeting the application requirements of AI vision inspection and AI vision equipment.
Multi-storage and fast data transmission to improve data processing capabilities at the edge
As factories transform to smart manufacturing, the amount of data collected is increasing. In order to store and transfer large amounts of data, E522 provides 1xM.2 + 1×2.5″ SATA III hard drive bay, and provides high-speed data transmission through optional GbE port.
